In paint, rheology refers to the study of how the paint flows, spreads, and levels out, affecting its ease of application, thickness, and ability to stay in place without sagging or dripping. Two-component coatings consist of a resin and a hardener that chemically react when mixed, leading to a rapid change in viscosity as curing begins.
