Supplying high quality manual application tools
for the marine and protective coatings market.
about
Manual application tools are often categorized as disposables, and cost frequently becomes the primary factor in selecting brushes and rollers.
At CoatX, we recognize that the quality of the application tool significantly affects the durability, efficiency, and overall quality of a paint job. Inferior tools lead to uneven coverage, more waste, lower-quality results, and expensive rework.
That’s why CoatX has developed a line of professional-grade application tools designed for unmatched performance. Our tools reduce the number of coats needed, ensure even coverage, and decrease waste, thus delivering superior results and protection for your project.
We at CoatX understand the substantial investments involved in surface preparation and high-quality paint. Our mission is to guarantee optimal outcomes using CoatX tools, enabling you to expect fewer coats, reduced man-hours, and considerable cost savings.
What makes our products unique
In paint, rheology refers to the study of how the paint flows, spreads, and levels out, affecting its ease of application, thickness, and ability to stay in place without sagging or dripping. Two-component coatings consist of a resin and a hardener that chemically react when mixed, leading to a rapid change in viscosity as curing begins. This means that industrial coatings have a more complex, reactive rheology compared to one-component decorative paints, and thus require specialised application tools.
CoatX products are engineered to handle the properties of industrial coatings and utilizes a mix specially developed synthetic fibres to provide optimal results. Our products are designed to withstand the strong solvents used in industrial coatings with minimal or no fibre loss.
